    Hello All,

Like so many of us I would love to find some one who know my Dad. He wqas in th e3rd Marine Division, Tank Battalion, B-Company Platoon 345 on the invasion of Iwo Jima. His commanding Officer was Maj. Holly H. Evens 12th marines. However in the invasion of Guam he was a torret operator on a Gen. Sherman tank. I believe his tank was number "5" and had a picture on an elephent on the side. he was actualy a tank mechanic but was assigned to duty on a tank for the invasion of Guam. HIs homw town was Woonsocket RI. Even if you didn't nknow him I would love to talk to anyone that may have been in his unit on Guam or Iwo Jime.

God Bless you all, your families and The USA
